Myntra forced to change logo in January 2021 after complaint

 Mynthra  changes logo after complaint calls signage offensive to women. Flipkart group company is one of the largest fashion e-tailors in India.During its "End of Reason Sale' , it sold 11 million items while catering to more than 5 million orders in December 2020. Avestha Foundation, Mumbai had lodged a complaint with cyber cell police about the message in the logo of Myntra in December 2020. The letter 'M'  designed with overlapping shades of pink and orange to serve as a logo for Myntra was used by the lifestyle store in the past 5 years. In a multi-cultural society like India, marketers have to be careful about offering promotions.  The shift towards digitalised platform require manageable size and color schemes, but the subtle message it carries should not disturb the social fabric of the people .
